“We Can Freeze Time Now”
“The surface of the wood slab adds something really personal to this piece. It doesn’t look separate from nature, it’s part of it. The way the rushing water is painted has a lot of energy, especially against the stillness of the trees and the stone bridge in the background. The greens are layered in a way that doesn’t look too neat or controlled, which makes the forest feel more alive. What surprised me most was how detailed the water and rocks are, even on a rough surface like this. I can take the whole work as the bridge connecting earth, sky, and nature, all in one quiet moment. It seems this is one of those moments you’d want to hold onto just a little longer.”
